दत्त म्हणजे त्रिगुणात्मक योगाचा एकत्र स्वरूप,

* संहारक व विध्वंसक शक्ती (शिव).

* सहिष्णुता-अहिंसा-ज्ञान (विष्णु).

* उत्पत्ती-भोग-निर्मिती (ब्रह्मा).

कालभैरव अवतरणानंतर या तिन्ही शक्ती एकत्र प्रकट होतात, आणि त्याचे पवित्र स्मरण म्हणजे *दत्त जयंती.* तीनही शक्ती एकत्र असल्याने दत्ताचा मार्ग कडक, शुचिर्भूत आणि नैतिकतेवर आधारित आहे.

ज्यांना हा मार्ग अवघड वाटतो त्यांच्यासाठी दत्त भोळा शंकर रूपी, सौम्य आणि दयाळू आहे.

त्रिशूलाचे तत्त्व सांगते — अहंकाराचा भंग करा,

तर गाय व कुत्रा आपल्याला दाखवतात — अन्नासाठी भांडू नका, अपेक्षा न ठेवता नम्र राहा.

यातून दत्ताची प्रसन्नता, साधेपणा आणि लीनभाव शिकवण मिळते.

अनसूयेच्या कठीण परीक्षेत दत्तांनी बालरूप धारण करून तिचा सन्मान केला.

यातून संदेश मिळतो — जो दत्ताच्या शरण येतो, त्याला दत्तही बालकासारखे स्वाधीन होतात.

🌸 Datta - The Mystery of the Trigunatmak (Three-Qualities) Dattatattva - Part 1

“Datta” represents the unified form of the three fundamental qualities (gunas) of existence:

The power of destruction and dissolution (Shiva).
Tolerance, non-violence, and knowledge (Vishnu).
Creation, experience, and manifestation (Brahma).

After the manifestation of Kalbhairava, these three forces appear together, and their sacred remembrance is known as Datta Jayanti. Because all three energies are unified, the path of Datta is strict, pure, and rooted in morality.

For those who find this path difficult, Datta appears as the innocent, gentle, and compassionate form of Lord Shankar.

The symbolism of the trident (Trishul) teaches us to break our ego,
while the cow and the dog remind us not to fight over food and to remain humble without expectations.
Through this, we learn Datta’s grace, simplicity, and sense of surrender.

During Anasuya’s difficult test, Datta took the form of a child to honor her.
This conveys the message: whoever surrenders to Datta, Datta too becomes devoted to them like a child.

दत्त हे गुरू अवतार आहेत.

पृथ्वीवर विश्वशांती, सत्संग, नैतिकता आणि धर्मपालनासाठी ते प्रकट होतात. म्हणून सर्व गुरु-परंपरा दत्ताशी जोडल्या जातात.

दत्त मार्ग म्हणजे —

नैतिकतेवर प्रेम, साधनेत प्रेम, भक्तीत प्रेम, आणि दत्तात्रेय गुणधर्मांचे पालन.

गाणगापूर, औदुंबर आणि नृसिंहवाडी या तीन ठिकाणी दत्ताची त्रिगुणात्मक ऊर्जा विशेष स्वरूपात प्रगट आहे.

येथे दत्तमूर्ती प्रतीकात्मक असली तरी ऊर्जा अखंड, जागृत आणि करुणामय असते.

दत्त पूजेत सोवळेपणा, शुचिर्भूतता आणि कडक नियम याला महत्व आहे.

दत्तस्थानी अन्नदान आणि भिक्षा याचे विशेष स्थान आहे.

भिक्षा म्हणजे मिळेल ते समाधानीपणे स्वीकारणे,

आणि अन्नदान म्हणजे गरजूंना प्रेमाने देणे, समारंभिक दानापेक्षा हे अधिक पुण्यकारक आहे.

दत्त भक्ताला काय देतात?

संरक्षण, संभाळ, दुष्ट शक्तींपासून रक्षण, आणि जीवनमार्गाला स्थैर्य.

पण त्यासाठी भक्ती, नैतिकता आणि साधनेसाठी वेळ देणे आवश्यक आहे—

कारण आपण धाव घेतली तरच दत्त कृपा उतरते.

गुरुचरित्र, दत्तबवनी, भिक्षा, षोडशोपचार— हे दत्त मार्गाचे महत्त्वपूर्ण आधारस्तंभ आहेत.

🌸 Datta - The Role of Dattatreya’s Incarnation, the Principle of Giving, and Protective Power - Part 2

Dattatreya is considered a Guru incarnation.
He manifests on Earth to promote universal peace, spiritual gatherings (satsang), morality, and the practice of righteousness (dharma). Hence, all Guru traditions are connected to Dattatreya.

The path of Dattatreya means—
love for morality, love for spiritual practice, love for devotion, and living according to the virtues of Dattatreya.

At Ganagapur, Audumbar, and Narsobawadi, the threefold divine energy of Dattatreya is especially manifested.
Though the idols at these places may be symbolic, the spiritual energy there is continuous, awakened, and compassionate.
In Dattatreya worship, purity, cleanliness, and strict discipline are very important.

Offering food (annadan) and alms (bhiksha) hold special significance in places of Dattatreya.

Bhiksha means accepting whatever one receives with contentment,
and annadan means lovingly giving food to those in need—this is considered more meritorious than ceremonial donations.

What does Dattatreya grant to devotees?
Protection, care, safeguarding from negative forces, and stability in life’s path.
However, for this, one must dedicate time to devotion, morality, and spiritual practice—
because divine grace descends only when one makes sincere effort.

Texts and practices like Guru Charitra, Datt Bavani, bhiksha, and Shodashopachara (sixteen-step ritual worship) are the important pillars of the Dattatreya path. 🙏
