💠 Shiva Valentine 💌 — The True Meaning of Love
* This year, Mahashivratri and Valentine’s Day fall together on the 14th/15th of February. So a natural question arose — what is true love?
* Shiva is not merely a deity; he is the foundation of creation and a conscious energy aware of human life.
* Shiva–Shakti, that is Parvati — daughter of the mountains, mother of the universe, the embodiment of beauty and compassion. Her love was not just an emotion; it was proven through penance, fasting, hardship, discipline, and patience.
* To find the right person and to sustain the right love, effort is necessary — this is what we learn from Parvati’s life. Her love was selfless. While she loved Shiva, he willingly assumed the forms of Vishnu and Rama.
* In the form of Rama, he endured exile, suffering, and even captivity under Ravana — this is true love.
* Shiva’s love was pure, yet it was also disciplined.
* By taking the form of Annapurna, Parvati taught the world the importance of offering food — love means responsibility.
* Shiva’s love was neither overly emotional nor careless; it was expressed at the right time and in the right way. When Parvati went for a bath and Ganesha stopped Shiva, the situation even led to beheading — because of rules, duty, and boundaries.
Yet,
* the love of Shiva and Parvati was filled with longing, waiting, and immense patience.
A similar love is seen in Vishnu and Lakshmi — seemingly separate from a distance, yet deeply close, stable, and balanced within.
Therefore,
♦️ Love does not need Valentine’s Day.
* Love requires — truth, patience, affection, effort, tolerance, acceptance, commitment, purity, and natural grace.
* If we believe in God, then love should not be about getting what we desire, but about offering ourselves.
