🌸 Beauty — A Reflection

What is beauty?
Where is it found? No one really knows. We keep searching for it in this world — in beautiful faces, attractive objects, or in nature.

Who gives beauty?
No one can say with certainty. Perhaps fate, perhaps God. But truthfully, we can also make ourselves beautiful — just like a flower blooms on its own.

Why do we seek beauty?
Because beauty brings joy and pleases the mind. But does it last? No. Even though Venus is considered the lord of beauty, it is still perishable.
For example — flowers wither, a child’s beauty fades with age, and even faces change over time.

Then why are people so drawn to beauty?
Because beauty naturally attracts us. Everyone desires to look beautiful. But behind this attraction lies indulgence and desire.
The fragrance of a flower, a beautiful car, attractive objects, a handsome man or woman, a lovely house — everywhere there is a hidden desire: “This should be mine.”

Why did the creator design it this way?
Because beauty and attraction are embedded in everything good. But this very attraction can pull a person away from money, time, and the true purpose of life.

How should we view beauty?
Beauty is said to be governed by Venus, and Venus by Shukracharya (the teacher of demons).
This suggests that behind beauty lies a subtle demonic force, while knowledge is guided by divine wisdom.
So one must ask: does beauty awaken indulgence within me?

What should we do?
We should appreciate beauty as a natural gift from the creator — but without attachment.
If beauty exists in our personality, writing, or noble actions, we can take pride in it.
But beauty of the body, home, face, or nature — all are temporary, so we should not be arrogant about them.

Why do people try to look beautiful?
Because it is a natural desire to appear attractive. But excessive beauty raises expectations.
We must ask ourselves: do we have the strength to fulfill those expectations?
Because we also have to bear the burden of others’ perceptions.

Conclusion:
Beauty may increase desires and lead to indulgence, but natural simplicity in beauty is best.
The beauty of Sita led to the Ramayana, and Draupadi’s beauty sparked the Mahabharata.

So, in my view —
Beauty should exist, but it should not take us away from wisdom and duty. 🙏
